Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 June 2026 · Beta

Y+ Studio (“the app”, “we”) is a browser-based studio for early architectural design. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes. Y+ Studio is local-first: by default your work stays on your own device, and cloud features are opt-in.

1. Data you create

Projects (moodboards and 3D massing studies) are saved in your browser using IndexedDB and localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you choose a cloud option below.

2. Cloud sync — your own Google Drive (optional)

Y+ Studio has no central database and no accounts on our servers. If you choose “Connect Google Drive”, your projects are saved as files in your own Google Drive, under your control:

3. Advertising

The free version of the app shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. You can review and control ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com, and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Upgrading to Pro removes ads.

4. Third-party services

To function, the app loads resources and data from: map tiles and search (OpenStreetMap, CARTO, Esri, Nominatim, Overpass), code libraries via CDN (jsDelivr), and Google (AdSense, Identity Services, Drive). These providers may receive your IP address and standard request information as part of serving their content, under their own privacy policies.

5. What we do not do

6. Your choices

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves; the “last updated” date will change accordingly.
